BPC-157 in the US: FDA Status, Prices and Supplier Checks

Last reviewed

Whether BPC-157 is FDA approved, what the FDA's 2026 review of compounded peptides has and has not changed, what research-grade BPC-157 costs, and how to check any supplier before ordering. To order research material, go to the BPC-157 product page.

The short version

  • FDA status. BPC-157 is not an FDA-approved drug. In July 2026 an FDA advisory committee recommended letting pharmacies compound it, but the FDA has not made a final decision.
  • Price. Three strengths, 5 mg to 20 mg, in boxes of 10 vials from $7.47 (£5.68) per vial, every strength priced on the product page.
  • Written both ways. You will see it as BPC-157 and as BPC 157, with and without the hyphen. Both name the same pentadecapeptide; the spelling changes nothing about the material or the COA behind it.

Guide

What a US buyer should know

Points you can check independently. Nothing here is a claim about what BPC-157 does, or a statement that it is safe or effective for any purpose.

Where the evidence actually sits

BPC-157 is a synthetic fifteen-residue peptide. Its published literature is almost entirely preclinical, in animal and cell models,12 and no completed human trial has been published. Any supplier presenting it as a proven treatment is going well beyond what has been published.

Where it stands with the FDA

In 2023 the FDA placed BPC-157 among the bulk substances it said may present significant safety risks when compounded. In 2026 the agency began reconsidering several of those peptides, and on July 23, 2026 its Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee voted 8 to 6, with one abstention, to recommend adding BPC-157 to the list of substances pharmacies may compound. That vote is advisory. It does not by itself authorize compounding, which would need FDA rulemaking, and it does nothing to make BPC-157 an approved drug.

What a Certificate of Analysis is worth

Every box ships with a batch-specific COA from Janoshik or Freedom Diagnostic. Batch-specific is the part that matters: a certificate for a different lot tells you nothing about the vial in your hand. Check the batch number on the certificate against your box, and check the laboratory named on it will confirm the report if asked.

What delivery to the US involves

We are a UK company. US orders ship FedEx tracked from our UK stock or direct from our verified manufacturer, depending on availability, and take 5–8 working days from dispatch. Any international parcel can be held, inspected or refused on entry to the US; if a US order is seized, we reship it once per customer at no cost, and a parcel whose tracking stalls is reshipped free. We hold no US stock.

Common questions

Is BPC-157 FDA approved?

No. BPC-157 is not an FDA-approved drug, and no completed human trial has been published.

Did the FDA approve BPC-157 in 2026?

No. In July 2026 an FDA advisory committee voted 8 to 6 to recommend that pharmacies be allowed to compound it. That is a recommendation to the FDA, not a decision, and it concerns compounding by licensed pharmacies, not approval as a drug. The FDA has not made a final decision.

Is research BPC-157 legal in the US?

It is laboratory material, not an FDA-approved drug, so there is no lawful route to supply it for human use, and a research-use-only label does not change that. It is supplied here as research material only. Our guide to US peptide law sets out the distinction in full.

How much does BPC-157 cost in the US?

Research-grade BPC-157 starts at $7.47 (£5.68) per vial in a box of ten, billed in US dollars. All three strengths are priced per vial and per box on the product page.

Do you ship BPC-157 to the US?

Yes, to all 50 states, FedEx tracked in 5–8 working days from dispatch. It ships from our UK stock or direct from our verified manufacturer; we have no US warehouse.
