Handling

How should GLOW be stored and reconstituted?

Lyophilised storage. Sealed vials are stable at room temperature for short periods during transit. For longer-term storage keep at −20 °C, protected from light and moisture.
Reconstitution. Bacteriostatic or sterile water is introduced slowly down the inside wall of the vial. Do not inject the stream directly into the powder and do not shake.
Dissolving. Swirl gently until clear. Peptides are shear-sensitive; vigorous agitation can degrade the compound.
After reconstitution. Refrigerate at 2–8 °C. Reconstituted peptide has a materially shorter working life than the lyophilised form.
Freeze–thaw. Repeated cycles degrade peptides. Aliquot before freezing where a protocol requires multiple uses.

What is GLOW researched for?

GHK-Cu and the extracellular matrix

GHK-Cu is the best-evidenced of the three. It is a copper-carrying tripeptide first isolated from human plasma, and published work reports that it increases production of collagen and other matrix proteins in skin fibroblast culture. It has been used in cosmetic formulations for decades, which is why some human data exists at all. 1

The two repair peptides

BPC-157 is studied in rat tendon and ligament injury models, with new blood vessel formation as the cited mechanism. TB-500 is studied for its effect on actin and on how cells migrate into a wound. Both bodies of work are rodent and cell-culture studies. 23

Why these three together

The preparation pairs one peptide studied for building matrix with two studied for tissue repair and blood supply, on the rationale that they cover different stages of the same process. No published study has tested that rationale.

What is not established

No animal or human study has tested BPC-157, GHK-Cu and TB-500 together. Copper complexes can interact with other molecules in solution, and no stability or compatibility data has been published for this specific mixture.
