About this group
Materials in this group are studied in dermal, follicular and pigmentation research models. The published literature on peptides for skin is built largely around copper complexes, GHK-Cu most of all, which is why it anchors this group — it appears both on its own and as a component of the GLOW and KLOW blends. If you are comparing the two blends, the difference is one component. Follicular research is also what searches for peptides for hair growth reach. As with the rest of this catalogue, the distinction that matters is between what a research model measures and what is being claimed for a person: nothing here is a treatment, and none of it is supplied for human use.

About this group
How the skin and cosmetic peptides differ
GHK-Cu brings decades of skin research and wide use as a cosmetic ingredient. The blends add preclinical compounds to it: GLOW combines it with BPC-157 and TB-500, and KLOW adds KPV as a fourth component. No published study has tested either combination. For background on the copper complex itself, see what GHK-Cu is and what the research covers.
Matrixyl (palmitoyl pentapeptide-4) is built on a five-residue fragment of the type I collagen precursor. Researchers use it to ask whether fibroblasts lay down more matrix when they meet that fragment. Both cell-culture work and small clinical studies exist. SNAP-8 is an acetylated octapeptide modelled on part of the SNAP-25 protein. Its published work covers formulation and in vitro research rather than clinical trials.
