GHK-Cu Copper Peptide in the UK: Research Grade, Prices and Checks
Last reviewed
Most GHK-Cu sold in the UK is a skincare serum or a supplement. This guide is about research-grade GHK-Cu powder: how it differs, whether it can be bought legally, what it costs per vial and what to check before ordering. For what published research has examined, see What is GHK-Cu?; to order, go to the GHK-Cu product page.
The short version
- Research grade. Lyophilised powder at 50 mg or 100 mg per vial, with a batch Certificate of Analysis, not a ready-made serum.
- Legal status. GHK-Cu is not a controlled drug in the UK. As a research peptide it is supplied for laboratory use only; skincare products containing it are sold under cosmetics rules, which is a separate route.
- Price. From £5.04 ($6.73) per vial in boxes of 10.
- What to check. A batch-specific COA, and a blue powder: the copper complex is naturally blue.

What a UK buyer should know
Points you can check independently. Nothing here is a claim about what these peptides do, or a statement that they are safe or effective for any purpose.
Research grade or skincare?
Search for GHK-Cu in the UK and most results are serums, creams and capsules. Those are finished consumer products containing GHK-Cu, often listed by its cosmetic ingredient name, copper tripeptide-1. Research-grade GHK-Cu is the compound itself as a freeze-dried powder, measured in milligrams per vial and backed by a batch Certificate of Analysis. The two are not interchangeable and are priced on different bases.
Why GHK-Cu is blue
The copper(II) ion bound to the peptide absorbs red light, so the powder and any solution made from it look blue. That is expected. A white or colourless powder sold as GHK-Cu is worth questioning.
What a Certificate of Analysis should show
Purity, usually measured by HPLC, and confirmation that the compound is what the label says, from a laboratory that will confirm the report if asked. The batch number on the certificate should match the number on your box. Ours come from independent third-party laboratories.
What delivery involves
We are UK-based, and orders ship tracked from our UK stock or direct from our verified manufacturer, depending on availability. Material shipped from outside the UK can be held, inspected or returned by customs; if that happens we reship a seized order once per customer at no cost, and a parcel whose tracking stalls is reshipped free.
