About Hexarelin
What is Hexarelin?
Overview
What is Hexarelin?
Hexarelin (examorelin) is a synthetic six-residue growth hormone secretagogue from the GHRP family. It acts at the ghrelin receptor (GHS-R1a), the same target as ipamorelin, and is among the most potent members of the family in published human studies. It also binds CD36, a receptor in heart tissue, which has made it a tool in cardiovascular research apart from its growth hormone effects. Supplied as a lyophilised powder in sealed vials, boxed in tens, for laboratory research use only.

| Research status | Hexarelin was studied in people in the 1990s, mainly for its growth hormone response, and later in animal models for its effects on the heart. It never progressed to an approved medicine. |

These are catalogue target specifications, not batch results. The 99%+ purity figure is the specification we buy to. The authoritative figures for any particular box are the ones printed on that box’s Certificate of Analysis, which is lot-specific. What research grade actually means explains the difference. Terms such as HPLC purity and net peptide content are explained in the peptide glossary.
We make no “third-party verified” claim for a batch unless the matching report is supplied with it. Ask for the current COA for the lot in stock before you order — we will send it.

Storage & reconstitution
Handling
How should Hexarelin be stored and reconstituted?
Sealed vials tolerate ambient temperature in transit and keep at −20 °C beyond that. Reconstitute slowly down the vial wall, swirl rather than shake, then refrigerate at 2–8 °C and aliquot before freezing.
Why each of those matters, and what a freeze–thaw cycle actually costs: peptide handling and storage reference. How long a mixed vial keeps: reconstituted peptide shelf life.
What it is researched for
Research Context
What is Hexarelin researched for?
Below is a plain-English summary of what published research has investigated, and what it has found. These are descriptions of research activity and published results. They are not claims about what Hexarelin does, and nothing here is a statement that it is safe or effective for any purpose.
Growth hormone release
A study in healthy men reported a dose-dependent rise in growth hormone after intravenous, subcutaneous, intranasal and oral hexarelin. 1
Heart research
Hexarelin binds CD36 in heart tissue. In animal studies this binding mediated cardiovascular effects that did not depend on growth hormone release. 2
Repeated exposure
Longer studies examined whether the growth hormone response weakens with repeated dosing, a recurring question for this class of secretagogue. 3

Laboratory uses
Applications
Where Hexarelin is used in the laboratory
- Ghrelin receptor (GHS-R1a) pharmacology and growth hormone release
- CD36 binding and cardiac research, the property that sets hexarelin apart from other secretagogues
- Receptor desensitisation, since repeated exposure has been studied for a weaker response over time
- Comparative work against ipamorelin, the more selective secretagogue in this catalogue
Batch COA
Verification
Does Hexarelin come with a COA?
Yes — every box. Each batch of Hexarelin is analysed by an independent third-party laboratory, and the certificate is tied to the batch number on the vial label.
Example COA. You receive the certificate matching your own batch.
Questions & answers
Questions
Hexarelin questions, answered
How does hexarelin compare with ipamorelin?
Both act at the ghrelin receptor. In published studies hexarelin produced a stronger growth hormone response but was less selective: it also raised prolactin and cortisol, which ipamorelin largely does not. Hexarelin also binds the CD36 receptor in the heart. Ipamorelin is the cleaner tool for selectivity studies; hexarelin suits potency and cardiac work.
Is hexarelin approved?
No. Hexarelin reached human studies in the 1990s but is not approved as a medicine in any country, and it is prohibited in competitive sport under the WADA list. The research material sold here is not for human consumption.
How much does Hexarelin cost?
Hexarelin starts at $8.59 per vial, sold in boxes of 10 vials at $85.85 per box (about £64.32). 2 strengths available: 2 mg, 5 mg. There is no minimum order.
Can I buy Hexarelin 2mg vials in the UK?
Yes. Hexarelin 2mg comes in boxes of 10 vials at $85.85 per box ($8.59 per vial, about £64.32 per box), sent tracked to UK addresses. There is no minimum order.
How is Hexarelin shipped to the UK and USA?
Tracked to the UK, USA, EU and worldwide, in plain packaging, dispatched within 1–2 working days. Country-by-country estimates are on the shipping page.
