Pricing

How much does Thymosin Alpha-1 cost?

Thymosin Alpha-1 starts at $10.50 per vial (£8.30), sold in boxes of 10 at $105.00. One box is the smallest order and there is no trade account or minimum spend. Larger volumes are negotiable.

Handling

How should Thymosin Alpha-1 be stored and reconstituted?

Lyophilised storage. Sealed vials are stable at room temperature for short periods during transit. For longer-term storage keep at −20 °C, protected from light and moisture.
Reconstitution. Bacteriostatic or sterile water is introduced slowly down the inside wall of the vial. Do not inject the stream directly into the powder and do not shake.
Dissolving. Swirl gently until clear. Peptides are shear-sensitive; vigorous agitation can degrade the compound.
After reconstitution. Refrigerate at 2–8 °C. Reconstituted peptide has a materially shorter working life than the lyophilised form.
Freeze–thaw. Repeated cycles degrade peptides. Aliquot before freezing where a protocol requires multiple uses.

Research Context

What is Thymosin Alpha-1 researched for?

Below is a plain-English summary of what published research has investigated, and what it has found. These are descriptions of research activity and published results. They are not claims about what Thymosin Alpha-1 does, and nothing here is a statement that it is safe or effective for any purpose.

Research status An approved medicine in over 30 countries under the name thymalfasin. Not approved in the UK or US.

Toll-like receptor signalling

Thymosin Alpha-1 acts on TLR2 and TLR9 on immune cells, influencing how strongly those cells respond to pathogen-associated signals. This is the best-characterised part of its mechanism.

T-cell maturation

It was originally isolated from thymic tissue, the organ where T-cells mature, and research examines its influence on that maturation process and on the balance of T-cell subsets.

Clinical use elsewhere

Where approved, it is used alongside other treatments in hepatitis B and C and as a vaccine adjuvant, and it was studied during the COVID-19 pandemic. That clinical record is unusually substantial for a peptide in this category. 12

Verification

Does Thymosin Alpha-1 come with a COA?

Yes — every box. Each batch of Thymosin Alpha-1 is analysed by Janoshik Analytical or Freedom Diagnostic. The certificate confirms identity by mass spectrometry and purity by HPLC, and is tied to the batch number printed on the vial label. You can ask to see it before you order.

Questions

Thymosin Alpha-1 questions, answered

How is Thymosin Alpha-1 different from Thymosin Beta-4?

They share a name but little else. Thymosin Alpha-1 is a 28-residue N-acetylated peptide studied in immune signalling. Thymosin Beta-4 is a 43-residue actin-binding peptide studied in cytoskeletal dynamics and cell migration. Both were first isolated from the same thymic extract, which is the only real reason they share a family name.

How much does Thymosin Alpha-1 cost?

Thymosin Alpha-1 starts at $10.50 per vial, sold in boxes of 10 vials at $105.00 per box (about £82.95). 2 strengths available: 5 mg, 10 mg. There is no minimum order.

What purity is your Thymosin Alpha-1?

All batches test at 99%+ purity. Every box ships with a batch-specific Certificate of Analysis from Janoshik Analytical or Freedom Diagnostic, confirming identity by mass spectrometry and purity by HPLC.

Is there a minimum order for Thymosin Alpha-1?

No. You can order a single box of 10 vials. There is no trade account, bulk commitment or minimum spend.

How is Thymosin Alpha-1 shipped?

Tracked and in discreet, plain packaging, dispatched within 1–3 working days. Delivery estimates are UK 5–7 working days, EU 8–10, USA 5–8 and rest of world 10–12. Full detail is on the shipping page.
